HOW TO USE SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE

Kapan menggunakan Simple Present Tense
1. Untuk menyatakan kondisi atau keadaan yang terjadi pada saat ini tetapi tidak bermakna sedang
    Budi reads abook

2. Menyatakan sesuatu yang bersifat universal
    Sugar is sweet

3. Menyatakan suatu kebiasaan/kejadian yang berulang-ulang
    I usually go to office  by bus
 

1.     Bila terdapat kata kerja 

(+) S + V1 e/es + Object + Adverb

(-) S+ do/does + not + V1 + Adverb

(?) Do/Does + S+V1+ Object + adverb…?

Kata kerja di bagi 2 yaitu TRANSITIVE dan INTRASITIVE

Transitive verb adalah kata kerja yang membutuhka object  sehingga objectnya disebut direct object. Bisa menggunkan kata “apa” untuk mengetahui apakah kata kerja transitive atau intransitive. Polanya (kata kerja) + apa…? Bila ada jawaban makan katanya kerjanya adalah kata kerja transitive dan objectnya adalah direct object.

Contoh : makan + apa…?  Apel maka makan merupakan kata kerja transitive dan apel merupakan direct object

                Nonton + apa…? Film

Intransitive verb adalah kata kerja yang tidak memerlukan object

Contoh : lari + apa…?

                 Tidur + apa..?

2.     Bila tidak terdapat kata kerja

(+)    S + Tobe ( am,is,are ) + Noun/Adjective/adverb

(-)     S + tobe + not + noun/adjective/adverb

(?)    Tobe + S + noun/adjective/adverb…?
